Founder of Cody, Wyomings fine art photography gallery, Open Range
Images, Hamilton Bryan has had an interest in photography most of his
life. Starting with filmmaking/videography in his youth and into his
professional career, photography has always been a passion.
After leaving the video production business in San Francisco he bought a dude
ranch in the scenic Wapiti, Wyoming valley. This area inspired him to
reinvigorate his interest in photography and after finding a great location on
main street in Cody, started a gallery.
For several years the gallery represented about a dozen artists. It has now
evolved into a co-op style gallery with 14 members, all of whom work 2-3 days
the gallery each month.
Ham is currently working in fundraising for the Yellowstone Recreations
Foundation and the Winter Recreation Coalition, both in Cody.
