It's my favorite time of the year. Fall. This big bull moose is gearing up for the rut. He is an old favorite in the area and continues to impress his onlookers....hopefully he'll have the same success with the moose cows.
I've spent a lot of time down south in the Tetons over the past few weeks.....and I found this past week difficult with, first, the disappearance of a vibrant young woman and, then the discovery of her body in the Spread Creek area, a place I sometimes camp. I'm trying to let the golden colors that are emerging more and more each day wrap up her spirit and offer consolation to her family, friends, and all the strangers who now feel connected to her.
